This is the first version of “Ernest” , a wordpress theme based on Hemingway.
Ernerst is basically a Hemingway on Crack version.
Description
- Ajax effects: moo.fx library is used for some show/hide effects.Three effect are used : 2 “accordions” on sidebars (one in this page the other on the homepage) and a “combo” toogled by clicking the “I” icon near the post title always in the homepage
- Plugin Ready: ready for Ultimate Tag Warrior and Brian’s latest comments,things shows up in the right place without changing anything manually, you don’t need this plugins in order to use Ernest, Ernest is simply ready for them.
- W3C valid XHTML
- Full in English
- Wordpress 2.0+ ( It works with 2.1, I will sanitize the code with the new hooks when it will be necessary but not now)

Installation
Grab one of those files above , uncompress it and upload “Ernest” directory to wp-content/themes, Go to Wordpress dashboard —>Presentation and chose Ernest.
Plugins
If you need theme you can find them here : Brian’s lastest comments , Ultimate Tag Warrior.
Once installed and activated you don’t need to change anything in your template files, Ernest will do the job, have a look here.

Ma certo che puoi mettere il link! Anche perchè tutto (quasi tutto, una cazzatina di mio l’aggiungerò più avanti) dovrebbe rimanere come così com’è. Ti devo proprio ringraziare, questo tuo mod del tema Hemingway è bellissimo, io ne avevo provato un’altro prima ma il tuo è veramente eccezionale. Complimeti.

Ciao Luca! Il passaggio alla versione 2.3 di Wordpress mi ha reso un po’ complicata la convinvenza con Ernest.. pensi di aggiornarlo? Io nel frattempo proverò a smanettare un po’ per cercare di sistemare qualcosa. Appena riesco ti mando via mail i file php con le mie modifiche. Ciao!
